The IFE South Africa branch will host their AGM and Professional development seminar and workshop on 4-5th April 2019 focusing on ‘Fire Safety -100 years on…. are we any safer?’. This event will focus on the recent tragedies based on historic events and the changes they bring about in our laws and practices.
The unfortunate events at Grenfell Tower in 2017 and the Bank of Lisbon fire in Johannesburg, showed that improvements need to be made in the prevention of deadly fires. This seminar and workshop will appeal to civil engineers, structural engineers, services engineers, facilities managers, procurement officers, project managers, construction managers, insurers, architects, developers and firefighters who are dealing with high rise building fire hazards and will have local and international speakers.
The event will take place at Wanderers Protea Hotel Johannesburg. For booking information please contact Jennifer or Moira on 011788-4329 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
