Lifetime Fellow Award for Paul Richardson

Paul Richardson QFSM BEng (Hons) BSc CEng CFIFireE (Life) MCGI has received the IFE Lifetime Fellow achievement award.

This is an extremely rare and special accolade with only 6 of such awards being made available at any one time globally.

He received the award at a ceremony on 29 November from Dr Peter Wilkinson BEng (Hons) MSc EngD CEng FIFireE, IFE Board member and Chair of the IFE Registrants’ Group at IFE Head Office.

Mr Richardson was nominated by the IFE board as a Lifetime Fellow at the October IFE Board meeting, in recognition of his distinguished contribution and support to the Membership Applications Assessment Panel. For many years, Mr Richardson has chaired the Panel, ensuring thousands of new and upgrading membership applications have been dealt with whilst providing valuable contributions and detailed advice and history on qualification standards and equivalencies.

Mr Richardson’s contributions also include a term as International President of the IFE in 2008/2009, involvement and QA of numerous special arrangements and devolved processes with International Branches and commitment to the IFE Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme by reviewing applications for CPD in an accurate and timely manner.

The IFE would like to congratulate Mr Richardson on this outstanding achievement and wish him all the very best for the future. The IFE staff team will all miss working with him very much.
